Flip The Tune 09 - Guitar Cry

You've been living under a rock and don't know what is Flip The Tune? Check out the previous posts about it!
Don't forget to tag your songs everywhere with #FlipTheTune so we get noticed for that tag.

No entry fee which leads to no prizes awarded  but we'll make good feedback on the production, track composition, sound quality and sound engineering.
**ETA: Wednewsday 29-April 23:59
OK so, who's in? **Please give feedback if you're going to do something for the project.

April is all about how to make the song cry even more than the guitar.
Grab it or ask for it on PM.

  • hey guys,
over here work caught up and I didn't get to a finished version in time.
@oki I'll be commenting your track later, didn't hear it yet...
so I've decided to bind my efforts on this track with the SKIO Music EDM & Dance Contest #2 which is happening now and this is my work in progress for that contest. Contains two tracks using our guitar cry, which I've cut in different melodies, re-sampled and filled with effects like I use to do.

Thanks! Ended up being a kind of summer festival style of EDM/ElectroHouse track.
It's now finished and live on the Skio contest page: https://skiomusic.com/ct-fx/ctfx-dont-cry

Your track is very nice, I also like a good drum n' bass track as you know! Love the jungle style snare, pretty groovy.

  • oops correct profile link for the Skio thing: https://skiomusic.com/ct-fx/ (the other one requires registering)

actualy think that this is fantastic now. great tune.
no hate, but i somehow feel it could even be better though. that bit that starts at 3.45 is brilliant, but somehow it could 'explode' just a little more when that happens, the rest building up to that. or at least thats what id do, but i usually overdo things lol... remix pack? :)

ahah overdoing is my fear too, that's why I kept it like it is, I agree it could explode more but can't do it without a nice mastering and I don't do specific mastering, still too complicated to me, so in the overall generic mastering (to keep the full track inside the audible spectrum) this is what I could do ;)
